Notes Towards A Font (Ongoing)
"Clefs" [detailed to the left] is the first in a series of explorations in standard music notation which question the efficiency and aestetic validity of traditional musical tropes. The ulitimate goal is to create a new "san-serif" music font, as well as develop new non-vertical techniques for ensemble music making.

Part of a larger in-process work. Designed to meet the specifications for a number of musical “actions” I am currently designing. Please feel free to use for your own design projects. The full commercial font with lower case and expanded punctuation is in development.
